Delete Your Kai-zo-ro Account
This page explains how to permanently delete your account and associated data, whether or not you can open the app or sign in.
What gets deleted
- Your account and the progress synced to it: hero name, level, XP, streaks, titles, achievements
- Your sign-in credentials and active sessions
- Your friend code, friend list, and any block or report you made or received
- Your leaderboard placement
Your quest history and any avatar or background photos you added were never on our servers — they exist only on your device. Deleting in the app also removes them from that device.
What's retained, and why
Deleting here, or in the app, removes your account and its data from our database straight away, and your sign-in record from our authentication provider in the same step. If a technical issue prevents the immediate deletion of an authentication record, limited information may remain temporarily while the issue is being resolved. We do not use the retained record for normal account activity after the account has been deleted, and we take reasonable steps to remove it when required. A request by email (below) is processed within 30 days. For a limited time afterwards, some copies can remain with our service providers: request and error logs at our hosting and database providers (Render and Supabase), and sign-in activity records at our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) — each kept only for the retention period of our plan with that provider and then deleted automatically. Our own encrypted backups of the database are deleted after 30 days; if we ever have to restore one, we delete your account again. We also keep an anonymous record that a deletion happened (a random ID and a time, nothing that identifies you). Emails you sent us are kept in our mailbox for the time set out in Section 16. Before you delete: if you have an active subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play, deleting your Kai-zo-ro account does not cancel it. Cancel first in Apple subscription settings or Google Play subscription settings. Need help? Contact ascendhelps@gmail.com.
How to delete your account
In the app (fastest): open Kai-zo-ro → Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account → type DELETE to confirm. This deletes your account and its data from our database immediately.
Can't open the app, or don't have it installed? Send us a deletion request by email and we'll process it by hand.
Your request must come from the email address on your account — if it doesn't, we'll reply to that address to verify ownership before processing anything. Requests are processed within 30 days, per the retention terms above.
If an account exists for , we emailed it a one-time code. It expires in 1 hour.

If you can't sign in, enter the email on your account. We'll email you a one-time link, valid for 1 hour, to confirm the deletion.
